Postcards from Prosperity

The Great Recession has led many to question the American dream. Is it obtainable? Is it desirable? What is the American dream? Is there just one?

I went to Prosperity, SC to see if our best days are ahead of us or behind us.

The images I take there will be turned into postcards that will be distributed to folks from Prosperity. I am asking them to write about Prosperity’s future or past and mail them back to me (postmarked Prosperity). I am wondering if hope for the future is overshadowed by nostalgia for the past. chuckdye.net
